Digitale Dokumentation der Parallaxen Exhibition 4–6 May 2026 von Eleonora Dieterichs und Oliver Scharf Ausstellung „Parallaxen“ 4.–6. Mai 2026: Schauen Sie durch einen Sucher. Was Sie sehen, ist nie ganz das, was das Objektiv einfängt.
 Diese kleine Verschiebung – die Parallaxe – ist weniger ein Fehler als vielmehr ein Zustand. 
Was bleibt, ist eine fragile Distanz – zwischen uns, der Welt, dem Anderen, uns selbst. 

 Über 20 Künstler*innen aus vier hessischen Kunsthochschulen – HfG Offenbach, HfMDK Frankfurt, Kunsthochschule Kassel und Städelschule – präsentieren ihre Arbeiten unter dem Titel „Parallaxen“ im Rahmen einer dreitägigen Veranstaltung mit Ausstellungen, Konzerten, Performances, Filmvorführungen und Installationen, die die Frage stellen: Wie wird die Realität durch den Akt des Sehens konstruiert – und von wem?

Was verborgen war, kommt ans Licht. Was festzustehen schien, kommt in Bewegung.

 This small displacement — Parallax — is not an error so much as a condition. 
What remains is a fragile distance — between us, the world, the other, ourselves. 

Over 20 artists from four Hessian art institutions HfG Offenbach, HfMDK Frankfurt, Kunsthochschule Kassel, and Städelschule will present their work under the title Parallaxen come together for three days of exhibitions, concerts, performances, film screenings and installations that ask: how is reality constructed through the act of looking — and by whom?

What was hidden begins to surface. What seemed fixed begins to move.
