Während Outdoor-Möbel häufig nur für den Freizeitkontext entworfen werden, weisen technologische wie gesellschaftliche Tendenzen auch auf völlig neue Nutzungsmuster hin. Arbeits- und Lernprozesse sind dezentraler geworden und haben sich auch auf öffentliche und halböffentliche Außenräume ausgebreitet. Die Sitzmöbel-Typologien aus dem Outdoor Living System dienen als Plattform für diesen zunehmend mobilen und informellen Lebensstil. Die stapelbaren Stühle und Hocker lassen sich durch ein Tablar ergänzen, um den Außenraum von Bildungsinstitutionen oder Corporate Spaces in Möglichkeitsräume zu transformieren, die transparenter gestaltet und flexibel nutzbar sind.
Whilst Outdoor furniture is largely perceived for leisure activities only, technological and lifestyle trends point to a completely different usage. Working and learning activities are becoming more mobile and decentralized. As a result, these activities have spread to outdoor spaces especially public and semi-public spaces. The stools and chairs from the Outdoor Living system are designed to respond to this more mobile and informal lifestyle. The pieces are stackable and extendable by a tray to transform educational institutions and corporate spaces into flexible and transparent working environment outdoors.
